Starting from the town
of El Tuito, begin this unforgettable journey across the jungle
draped mountains of the Mexican Sierra Madre, where your destination
is the virgin beach at Mayto.
Your first stop is the
small village of Llano Grande, where you can stretch and refresh
with a cool drink on hand. Once you arrive to Mayto Beach, you
will make a quick stop at the turtle research center of the
University of Guadalajara, and if in season, you may even see
turtle nests or help release hatchlings to the sea!
The journey continues
to a fishing village called Tehuamixtle, where you will enjoy
